چکیده
Stimuli-responsive drug delivery systems are urgently required for injectable site-specific and release of drugs in a controlled manner. For this purpose, we developed novel pH-sensitive, biodegradable, antimicrobial hydrogels from bio-macromolecule pectin, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), 3-aminopropyl (diethoxy)methyl silane (3-APDEMS), sepiolite clay via blending solution casting technique. The purified (40 um) was functionalized with 3-APDEMS crosslinker ( ex-situ modification) followed by fabrication. FTIR SEM confirmed crosslinked structural integrity rod-like morphology respectively. swelling properties could be varying the concentration modified pectin/PVP blends. Moreover, decrease pH increased indicating pH-responsiveness hydrogels. All were degraded after 21 days phosphate buffer saline 7.4 (human blood pH). In-vitro cytotoxicity against 3T3 mouse fibroblast cell line analysis cytocompatibility all Ceftriaxone sodium (CTX-S) selected as model drug. profile hydrogel showed 91.82% PBS 2 h consistent chemical structure remained intact during through UV-Visible spectroscopy. Overall, these used potential scaffolds future biomedical applications.

Controlled Release Drug Delivery from Hydrogels
The objective of this project is to introduce students to the concepts of diffusion, polymers and polymerization reactions, and enzyme mediated reactions by designing and testing a controlled release drug delivery system. These types of systems are also referred to as localized drug delivery because an implant that releases drugs is placed directly into diseased tissue. Here, we use Jell-O c ©a...
متن کاملSmart microcapsule membranes for stimuli-responsive controlled- release
The target of a controlled drug delivery system is for an improved drug treatment (outcome) through rate-/time-programmed and/or site-specific drug delivery. Environmental stimuli-responsive controlled-release systems have been developed specifically for this purpose. These environmental stimuli-responsive release systems can release specified chemicals or drugs at a particular site where an en...

A series of homopolymeric and copolymeric hydrogels containing the N-isopropylacrylamide and vinyl monomers with α-amino acid (L-valine and L-phenylalanine) residues have been synthesized and their swelling properties were evaluated under different external stimulations. The hydrogels, obtained with different cross-linking agents (EBA and PEG-DA), have shown unique properties such as biocompati...

New antimicrobial hydrogels were prepared via reaction of functionalized-Tragacanth Gum biopolymer by glycidyltrimethylammonium chloride (QTG) with acrylamide (AM). Characterization of the QTG hydrogels with AM (QTG-AM) was carried out by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and 1HNMR. Swelling behaviour of the QTG hydrogels was investigated on the p...
